Robert Garcia is Oxnard's first world champion and one of the best trainers in boxing today.

Vargas was a 1996 USA Olympian and youngest on the team. He would later become the second world champion just months after Robert Garcia won the title.
"Sweet" Jose Aguiniga had a great run in boxing although he never won a world title. He retired with and undefeated record of 33-0. He was a terrific boxer.

"El Pochito" was a power puncher with great skill in the ring. Very fun to watch!
Rodela is one of the most respected boxers ever out of Oxnard and still resides in the city helping out whoever may reach out to him. Great boxing I.Q..
Joel was a very slick boxer who was trained by his father who was close to the trainer of the legendary boxer, Salvador Sanchez. Several of Salas ' fights were televised.

Adam “Bomb” Flores was a Ventura County heavyweight prospect back in the 1990’s. Flores has been the most popular heavyweight from Ventura County. He has managed, coached, and mentored local fighters in Ventura County, and also appeared in the 1998 film “Snake Eyes”.
