"El Pillin" Daniel Santos

Daniel Santos is the last boxer to win an Olympic medal in boxing for Puerto Rico. He was the bronze medalist in the welterweight division during the 1996 Olympic games in Atlanta. He became pro soon after on September 28, 1996. Santos would end up winning the WBO’s Welter and Super Welterweight title during his career. In his final years, he only fought one time a year from 20005 to 2009 which frustrated him and led him to retire.
