Carlos "El Terror" Madrigal

Carlos "El Terror" Madrigal fought out of Oxnard's La Colonia Boxing Gym. He made his pro debut on September 19, 1996 at the historic Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles. Madrigal had a fan-friendly style of fighting and made his matches exciting to watch. In early 2003, Carlos fought on a boxing series called "Boxeo De Oro" promoted by the then-newly formed Golden Boy Promotions that was televised on HBO Latino. He was knocked out in the second round by Jose Navarro and was out for several minutes. On our interview in 2016, Madrigal claimed to have been drugged prior to this bout which was at The Olympic where he debuted. He only fought once more at the end of 2003 in El Paso.
